Founded in the year 2014 by a group of people who shared a common dream, goal and had come together to contribute towards society & people development with focus in the area of Poverty, Hunger, Child Education, Child Labour, Homeless Elderly, Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment and women empowerment. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Today there are lots of things that are happening in the name of women empowerment in India and lot of resources are spent in this direction. When we talk about women empowerment in India the most important aspect that comes into the mind is the attitude of the society towards women. Women are still considered as burden and liabilities. The bottom line is Women empowerment in India is not possible unless violence against women is eradicated from the society.
Violence against women is perhaps the most shameful human rights violation, and it is perhaps the most pervasive. It knows no boundaries of geography, culture, or wealth. As long as it continues, we cannot claim to be making real progress towards equality, development, and peace.’
Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods. We focuses on the empowerment of women and girls because they are disproportionately affected by poverty and discrimination; and suffer abuse and violations in the realization of their rights, entitlements and access and control over resources.
Also, experience shows that, when equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities overcome poverty, marginalization and social injustice. We need to unite for a change that will empower our nation by empowering our women. Let’s stand together and raise our voices for the development of a good society.
CHILDREN EMPOWERMENT
HEALTH
The cycle of poverty is an interconnected mix of factors that imprisons entire communities for generations. While it’s difficult to unwind every element of poverty, one thing stands out — health conditions and access to health care play a huge factor in a community’s poverty rate.
Children in impoverished communities live without access to basic health necessities such as clean water and sanitation, ushering in preventable diseases or worse. Health issues often cause children to fall behind in school, and a lack of education leads the way for drug use, early pregnancy and gang affiliation.
Your gift, or sponsorship, helps children in our communities by providing health programs that focus on two important things: 1) developing healthy habits and 2) connecting children with services, like our own health and dental clinics, when they need help.
EDUCATION
In many impoverished communities, children don’t have the opportunity to receive an education. Some don’t have resources like books or uniforms, leaving children to fall behind without the support to catch up. Youth drop out of school to support their families and never go back.
And entire school systems are understaffed, failing to provide adequate education to the children who live there. Lack of education increases the likelihood of involvement in drugs, gangs and other risky behaviors. It’s easy to see how an absence of education spirals into a cycle of poverty. When you make a gift to our education programs, you provide the resources, tutoring programs and more for children from kindergarten through high school and beyond.
EMPOWERMENT
Children in impoverished communities need the essentials: health care, safety and education — that’s step one. But to truly end generational poverty, children must have hope for the future and see possibilities for themselves beyond their circumstances.

OLD AGE SUPPORT
PREVENTING ELDER ABUSE
Around one in six older people face abuse worldwide. Despite this fact, elder abuse remains invisible. Emerging evidence is indicating violence, abuse and neglect of older people has increased since the outbreak of COVID-19. Empowering Humanity is working to raise awareness of the problem and influence key people to stop it. Support us to expose & prevent elder abuse.
OLD AGE HOME
A roof over their heads is a critical need of the elder who are destitute, sick and abandoned by family and those uprooted by disasters. Empowering Humanity has established an Old Age home for the senior citizens and aged in Delhi & NCR. Keeping in mind the vulnerability of elders & our Corona warriors on ground, in the current Covid 19 pandemic situation, Empowering Humanity is adhering to all the safety and hygiene measures for all its programs on the field, like wearing face masks, regular washing & sanitization of hands, and maintaining social distancing norms at all times, to ensure their safety & protection.
HAPPY AGEING WITH DIGNITY – Old age is an unavoidable part of our life cycle and should be lived gracefully rather than grudgingly. Empowering Humanity seeks to reach out to larger audience of older persons and act as a catalyst of change in bridging the gap between generations and ensuring respectful and comfortable life for old people. We interacts with older persons and their caregivers at all levels Family, Community and State.
Empowering Humanity aims to disabuse the popular mind-set that regards old age with a sense of pity for their helplessness. Replacing it with an attitude of confidence, fostering respect for them and encouraging fortitude in them. And bringing a little certainty, even fun into their lives. A network of thousands of volunteers is already at work in given areas. They are constantly alert to attend, to matters of medical or emotional nature, affairs to do with security as well as legal and financial advice.
ANIMAL WELFARE
FEEDING STRAY DOGS – One of the first few projects taken up by our team very early on is our feeding project. We currently feeds 80-90 dogs in the streets on a daily basis to make sure these dogs have the basic amenities to survive on the streets. We currently feed the dogs packaged dog food / Biscuits as it is easier for our team to procure and feed on the spot. Many of these dogs also receive on the spot medical treatment if they ever need it.
REHAB FOR INJURED ANIMALS – In our cities animals born on the streets have to face many difficulties and challenges living a life alone on the streets. They have to fend for themselves, make sure they survive while tacking the urban cities. Animals on the streets often get injured hit by vehicles, harassed by humans and sometimes even end up in fights with other animals. Many times these small injuries resolve themselves but often times they require medical attention.
That is where our team steps in to help – if we come across an injured animal on the streets they are picked up by our Volunteers and rushed to a nearby vet. The animals then stay with our team to recover and once we believe they can fend for themselves released back to the same area. Currently we have very limited space for injured animals to recovery so we are unable to help all the animals that are in need of help. But with your support hope to expand our rehabilitation project and help many more injured animals recover.
REHOMING – Empowering Humanity since inception has focused on rehoming street puppies, kittens and abandoned animals. Most of the puppies and kittens born on the streets learn from their mother at a young age how to survive on the streets. But ever so often there are those that get separated from the mother and even some who get injured and are unable to survive on the streets without our help.
There are also animals that of no fault of their own are abandoned on the streets by their families and left to fend for themselves. Our team take in these animals and help them become healthy physically, emotionally and fit for rehoming. We then work with behaviorist and help match the personalities of each animal and place in them forever loving homes..

FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER
Satiating the Hunger of Underprivileged – Empowering Humanity is committed to uprooting hunger from the poverty-stricken regions in marginalized parts of India. In the entire world, hunger has become the most significant problem that demands the immediate attention of one and all who can come up with better solutions to meet the daily food needs of underprivileged people and serve them lifelong happiness.
Most of us enjoy the delights of preparing mouth-watering food at home, along with going out for dinner. Unfortunately, millions of Indians are starving due to the scarcity of food for them, and they have to sleep empty stomach. The positive point associated with this matter is that issues pertaining to hunger are fixable.
Empowering Humanity is continuously striving to pull down the graph of hunger among the economically and socially backward section of societies within the Indian boundaries. We make sure that hunger-stricken children would get regular meals on a regular basis so that they can develop themselves in a fit and healthy manner and become the valuable resources for the nation’s upliftment in all the spheres at the global level.
We envision a society where nobody will be going to bed for sleeping without having food. All the Indians should have access to needed pulses and cereals, in-depth familiarity with the merit of healthcare and nutrition, and hygienic food to increase their longevity.
We are uplifting our efforts in the direction of mobilizing action to end hunger all over India while educational programs and campaigns concerning its devastating effects on underprivileged ones. Through our several programs, we keep our eyes on reducing food wastage and utilizing the remaining food lots in serving the hungry and underfed individuals living in backward communities. We are proceeding ahead on the trip to equip less privileged children with sustainable hunger solutions with a hope that the accessibility of quality-based food in marginalized parts of Indian societies would increase.

Kanya Daan
Empowering Humanity is committed for poor girls marriage, mainly to perform the “kanyadaan” of daughters whose families can’t afford a wedding. We try to support the girl and her family by bearing the expenses of the wedding and demolish dowry and suicide due to lack of funds for marriage.
We believe that no girl should be treated as a burden just due to her marriage expense. we aim to provide all the funds required for a wedding and help such families and brides. According to us a kanyadaaner is a greater person than a person who performs kanyadaan because he is donating for the person to perform the most auspicious ceremony.
Empowering Humanity, aims to involve more and more people and raise maximum funds to help families get their daughter married. There are many who cannot afford a wedding to the extent that they are forced to kill themselves or their daughters. Hence by helping them, we are not only getting them married but also saving a girl child.
With Empowering Humanity we want to take a step to stop this deep rooted ailmnt in the society. By helping fathers and young brides to do their kanyadaan and bearing all the wedding expense, a girl shall no longer be considered as a burden to the family. It will hence stop all the inequalities, deaths and suicide. Kanyadaan is considered as the biggest “daan” in our country. But we feel that helping someone to do kanyadaan is a bigger ceremony.
By involving as many people as possible, we want to increase the number of girls we get married, every year. Empowering Humanity wants to help all such girls and families from across the country and arrange their wedding.
We want to join hands with people (kanyadaaners) not only across the country but also globally, where they can donate and become a kanyadaaner for a bride. By doing so , they can even opt to attend the wedding of their respective kanya.
